Leadership:

Coached high school track and cross country—Danville, CA   15 years

Coached kinder-12th grade track and cross country—Jackson, WY   7 years

Served as student staff: University of Southern California Swim Team  4 years

Served as assistant director: Fort Lewis College Cycling Team, Durango, CO   2 years

Led youth track camps and directed all-comers track and cross country meets, Durango, CO   3 years

Taught kinder-12th grade students in public and private schools: California, Wyoming, Colorado    27 years

Co-founded NCAA Christian Swimmers Fellowship

Founded Athletes in Action Swim Team

Served as bike club president in California and Wyoming

Served as race director: bike, running, track, and cross country races

Awards:

Coach of the Year: California: 1983 and 1994; Wyoming 2000

NCAA Team National Swimming Champions, 1976 and 1977

Collegiate Team Mtn. Biking National Champions, 2004

Cross Country State Champions: California Girls, 1983; Wyoming Boys, 2000

Cross Country Conference Champions: California Girls, 1980,1983,1989,1992; California Boys, 1987; Wyoming Boys, 1999 and 2000

Cross Country and Track League Champions: 23 teams total in California and Wyoming

Personal Accomplishments:

Mission Trips: Poland and Romania, 1982 and 1984; India, 1988; Mexico, 1980

Miles run since 1980: 29,336

Running shoes worn since 1980: 43 pairs

Miles cycled since 1983: 56,726

Competed in over 220 races—running, cycling, triathlon, swimming and Nordic skiing
