“Gerry Geraghty was an integral part of my athletic development from a very early age and he continues to be an inspiration to me as I pursue my goals as a competitive cyclist. My greatest efforts on the bicycle were with Gerry: trading attacks, bombing down alpine descents, and climbing endless mountain roads. Training with Gerry taught me to believe in my own strength, my training, and to go beyond my physical and mental limits.” Todd Bell |

“I highly recommend Gerry Geraghty as a coach. He is the most well-rounded, most experienced coach I have ever worked with. His life experiences and knowledge of many sports give him a well-balanced, real-life approach beyond a scientific coaching method. In addition, Gerry’s passion for God and impeccable character can’t help but rub off on his athletes.” Sam Jurekovic, U-23 Mountain Bike National Champion 2007

“I am impressed with Gerry’s commitment to fitness. He has a deep knowledge of everything I needed to know related to my training and he exemplifies it in his own lifestyle. Because of his love for fitness, fun, and adventure, Gerry has a way of making training something to actually miss. I credit Gerry with instilling that same love of fitness, fun, and adventure into me too. On top of that, this former college track captain ran some of the best races of my life with Gerry’s help.” Brian Dowd

His coaching style makes training fun even while pushing you to your limits. His complete dedication to the athlete, the team, and the sport showed when he never missed a workout or race as my coach. “In June of 2006, I weighed 394 pounds and I was ready to do something about my out of control weight. After losing weight from dieting, I realized that I needed to make a lifestyle change. Gerry Geraghty started a wellness group at our church for support and education. Every time that I felt like giving up, God would put someone in my path to encourage me and it was enough to keep going. Gerry has been true blessing to me through this whole journey. He has offered tons of advice, encouragement, but mainly he kept me accountable to myself and my goals. Gerry checked in with me frequently and pushed me when I couldn’t do it myself. Thank you, Gerry! I still am on my journey but 194 pounds lighter. Yes! I have almost reached one of my goals of losing 200 pounds. With focus, determination, goals, hard work, God and friends like Gerry any weight loss is possible!” Lisa Schwartz December 2008 |
